| Match Report: | Hoiton not at the races in the first game then robbed in the second! U10 – Honiton were also up against Exmouth and were I’m afraid “not at the races” for the first encounter. Their unusually strong tackling had taken a day off and they allowed the opposition to score 7 unanswered tries to go down 35-0. With a “water under bridge” approach they put this first game behind them and came out fighting for the second . 2 tries from Jack Katene put Honiton ahead but Exmouth came back to level the score. Joel Gibson scored what should have been a winning try for Honiton but unfortunately Exmouth were awarded a controversial penalty with seconds to spare and somehow they managed to score to level the match at 3 tries all. Man of the match was awarded to Ben Phillips. |
