| Match Report: | Bad day at the office The under 13’s were the only side down at Allhallows on Sunday and on a glorious if rather chilly morning kick off was delayed a bit to allow the pitch to thaw out. Unfortunately it was not a good day at the office for Honiton who were fielding a rather depleted side and to be fair they struggled against a strong running Saracens side. The first half was pretty nip and tuck with a bit of tit for tat scoring. By half time Honiton had scored two tries through Harry Wright and skipper Wez Keywood but Saracens had out scored them three and two conversions chucked in. The second half saw the Lacemen capitulate as the opposition took control. They scored several unanswered tries to rattle up the score. Ben Kidson did get a consolation try which Wright converted but by then, the result was beyond doubt. Honiton lost 49-7 in a game they will want to forget. |
