| Match Report: | As we thought and here we go..... Argum phoned last night, they can't raise a side and won't be comming. Chap was very sorry etc etc and what more can you say at least he phone early. I fear this may well be the trend with the Plymouth sides, they just won't come up to play us. You can't dress it up in any other way .... this well intentioned change to the old Devon 1 and 2 leagues to this new set up has been a disaster!! We are just not used to this notion of.... "if you are going to get beat you just don't turn up" and the sooner we get out of this league the better. We must rise above all this...thing is, we have to ensure we win all our games and win them well.... so let's not sink to this level... a game in Plymouth is when you must be available and we need to go down there at full strength, win and win well. I cringe at the two lost games earlier in the year as they look like they may prove crutial at the end of the day. We are getting stronger at the right time ..With several players back now from injury, the colts league finishing shortly and new props turning up etc we are starting to be able to be fussy about selection. Cup run is still on...so let's keep up the momentum and as I say "rise above this shambles!!" |
