This week the Lacemen host fellow regulation contenders Exeter Sarries in a local rivalry with the city boys a short trip down the A30. After enduring and eventually being overcome by a strong Withycombe outfit, Honiton will be looking to get back on track against Sarries with what is potentially a 10 point swing for whichever bottom table team can claim them.

Honiton played poorly in my opinion down at Sarries in what I would describe as the poorest performance of the season being beaten heavily by on the day the better team and welcomed in the evening to their hospitality for a joint team social. The boys from the ton will look to turn the tables as its our time to play host.

It has been a while since I have posted a was'on and for that I apologise.

A lot has gone on, the 6 nations is almost upon us with Eddie Jones looking to imprint his philosophy on a 'revitalised' England squad lead by hot head Dylan Hartley.

A load of stuff has happened in the Premier league, Real Madrid got a transfer ban again, marooning David De Gea on red devil island. Messi's new contract slip reveals his new salary exceeds the GDP of most African countries. And Klopp is still smiling.

My personal favourite this month though is Ricky Gervais's speech at the Golden Globes, insulting all the appropriate hot topics; the male-female pay gap, transgender people and just by bringing up Mel Gibson managed to quickly cover off radicalism, alcoholism, racism and just about ever other 'ism' you can think of.
